Arraignment on this charge is set on 7/19/16 at the Prince of Wales District Court.

On 7/19/16, at 1400 hours, Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of an altercation in Port Alexander between two adult males. A 67 yoa male Washington resident engaged in a physical altercation with a 50 yoa Alaska resident. It was alleged that one party unlawfully entered the residence of another party and an item valued at $400.00 was reported stolen. The investigation is on-going.

On July 22, 2016, the Hydaburg VPSO responded to a report of an assault involving domestic violence. Subsequent investigation revealed 42 year old Gerald E. Peele of Hydaburg had placed his year old girlfriend in fear of imminent physical injury by his words and conduct. Peele was taken into custody and transported to the Craig Police Department Jail where he was held without bail pending arraignment.
