What is Your Mission in Life?

I know that I am a Millennial. I am still young and life is still ahead of me so it is easy for me to ask:

What is Your Mission in Life?

Because my life is still ahead of me. None-the-less, my age or your age Should. Not. Matter. It doesn't matter how old you are, where you are in life, or what obstacles you face. Yuichiro Miura climbed Mount Everest when he was 80 years old! If he can climb the tallest mountain in the world, you can climb any proverbial mountain you face in life!

The problem is that it doesn't matter what age you are, we rarely--You or I or our Friends--take the time to assess what our mission in life is. We go through the doldrums of life, day after day, year after year and don't take the time to take inventory of ourselves. Then all of a sudden before we know it we wake up one day, wondering 'What the hell happened? What have I accomplished?"

Everyone wants to leave a mark on the world and be remembered in history, yet it's the human condition of apathy that gets in the way.

I know that I have it. I'm lazy. I enjoy surfing 'teh interwebz' drinking beer (or wine) and not doing a single. Damn. Thing. It's great! And in fact it is good to do that once in awhile but it's unfortunately too easy to fall into that trap day after day, year after year.

What is Your Mission in Life?

Take the time and write down what you want to do. And this part is important. You must write down what your mission will be. It is not enough to just say it. Politicians say things all the time and it means absolutely nothing. However, writing it down. That is more concrete. There is a sense of finality to that action.

After you made the concrete step and wrote down what your mission in life is, now take steps to put it into action. It doesn't need to be monumental sacrifices. Accomplishments in life take baby steps over and over and over again until it finally grows to maturity. Take this website for example. If you have the time go through the archive. It started out pretty poor. My readership was about 10 people per article. Now I average about 200 readers per article with highs of up to 500!

Baby Steps!

The fact of the matter is that most things in life we can't accomplish without others. Our friends, our family, our spouses. This website only exists because of you and for that I thank you! Just as with this website, we need to find like minded individuals and support to propel us to the finish line of our Mission.

Don't give up. Never Apologize. Go and Succeed!

Until next time,

Cheers!
