On 4/20/16 at approximately 1030 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island contacted Ted J. Beal, age 38 of Craig, during a motor vehicle collision investigation. The investigation revealed that Beal was operating a 1989 Ford Pickup on the North Island Road with a suspended operator’s license. Beal was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for the charge of Driving While License Suspended.

On 4/20/16 at approximately 1030 hours, Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island received a third party report of a motor vehicle collision near mile 86 of the North Island Road. Investigation revealed that Robyn Buchanan, age 26 of Craig, was operating her 2001 Chevrolet Prism southbound when she struck a vehicle that was stopped on the side of the roadway. Buchanan left the scene of the collision to get help to remove her vehicle, but never reported the collision to law enforcement. Further investigation revealed that Buchanan was operating her vehicle without a valid operator’s license, and was on conditions of release for a prior NVOL charge. Buchanan was issued an Alaska Uniform Citation to appear in court for the charges of No Valid Operator’s License, fail to report a collision, and violating conditions of release.

On 4/20/16, at about 1730 hours, Alaska Wildlife Troopers on Prince of Wales Island responded to Coffman Cove for a report of an assault. The suspect, David A. Snodgrass, of Coffman Cove, left the scene prior to troopers’ arrival. Based on AWT investigation the Prince of Wales Court has issued a no-bail warrant for Snodgrass’ arrest, and he is currently being sought by law enforcement.
